Raised in Houston, Texas (and forever a Lone Star girl), Mary and her husband Bruce moved to the foothills of North Carolina in 1997. They have four young adult children.

Review

You are the Reason is the first book in The Heart of Moreland Manor series and is a sweet second chance romance story.  Different readers may react to the story differently as some readers will love the premise of the story, as it has the appeal and feel of a Hallmark movie, where on the other hand, there may be some readers that find the story hard to get into with it moving a bit slow and characters hard to connect to.  I would recommend this story to readers that enjoy contemporary romance.
