About the Author

Elizabeth Camden is best known for her historical novels set in gilded age America featuring clever heroines and richly layered storylines. Before she was a writer, she was an academic librarian at some of the largest and smallest libraries in America, but her favorite is the continually growing library in her own home. Her novels have won the RITA and Christy Award, and she lives in Florida with her husband who graciously tolerates her intimidating stockpile of books.

Author Elizabeth Camden has written an exciting and thrilling mysterious adventure story in her novel, While the City Sleeps.  Readers will enjoy this story about a female dentist and the plot to destroy her career, along with other of her coworkers, including other women and some men of color.  This is a fast paced read that will keep readers on the edge of their seats, waiting with anticipation to discover what will happen next.  Camden has once again written a story that will captivate and enthrall readers, taking them into the NYC Gilded Age and the lower working class.  But amid the thrill and danger, there is also some romance that readers will delight in.  Another fabulous story from an amazing author that readers will devour.
