ReviewIn this story, readers get a very real depiction of what it was like for someone in the late 1800’s to be put away in an asain asylum. It is a glimpse of the dark and depressing place that it really was, in addition to showing the mistreatment and misunderstanding of so many. This potentially very dark story has strings of light weaved throughout it, helping it have a little bit of joy. Readers will also adore the reference to musicians and their music and how it could impact those that were in the asylum. Readers will be haunted by this gothic mystery long after the turn of the last page.
