 I write books, primarily regency era fiction, and I love what I do because writing has always been an escapism for me, as reading is for many people.

I think reading brings people together. Maybe not physically (because many of us are introverts, and social gatherings are terrifying) but books connect us in a way that lots of people don't get. Fiction binds us to a reality we'll never know. And I think there's a lot of beauty in that.

but author Kate Renae has written a gothic Regency mystery romance story that readers will be thrilled and charmed by.  There is plenty of twist and turns throughout the story that will leave readers guessing what will happen next.  Although an intriguing and interesting story, there are several questions that do not get answered by the end of the story, which may confuse readers.  But the pacing of the story and the sweet romance help make up for it.  This is a story that readers of mystery and Regency romance will enjoy.
