The Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon is hosted by Wishful Endings. It runs from September 11th through 24th with the goal of diminishing our to-read pile of books. All books in any format and source count and you do not have to be a blogger to participate. There are challenges and giveaways as well. You can sign up through September 23rd. Between Lies (The In-Betweens Book 2) by Alison L. Perry — I just read the first one, and now I want the second!
Acceptance (Jewel Trilogy Book 1) by Trish Beninato — A book with gods from different cultures/ religions falling for each other is right up my alley!
The House on Carnaval Street: From Kabul to a Home by the Mexican Sea by Deborah Rodriguez — I loved another book by this author.
The Light in the Forest by Conrad Richter — My people are in this book.
Alpha Goddess by Amalie Howard — Sounds really interesting.

It's fun to see what everyone would buy right now.

It's hard to decide which five as my list kind of changes based on mood sometimes. Right now, I'd pick (these are books I have not purchased, yet):

- To Wager Her Heart by Tamera Alexander
- All this Time by Melissa Tagg
- Invictus by Ryan Graudin

Top books I would buy right now?

The illustrated Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (preorder; it comes out Oct. 3.)

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Audible, read by David Tennant - because how can you resist Tennant reading a funny, quirky English children's book?)

Glamour in Glass (Glamourist Histories #2) by Mary Robinette Kowal

and hardcover copies of The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss.
