ReviewJanine Mendenhall’s debut novel, Starving Hearts, is full of adventure, suspense, and of course romance. A new historical novel, Janine’s story of pain, heartache, loss, and love will speak to its readers. It is interesting to see the different events that cause the paths of Annette Chetwynd and Peter Adsley to cross and to see their relationship develop throughout the novel. This story is told from the view point of both Annette and Peter bringing to light different events. I enjoyed both the exciting story and the delightful characters that Janine developed. I would recommend this story to readers that enjoy historical-romance.
