In book one of the Blackbird Mountain series, Sons of Blackbird Mountain, author Joanne Bischof has created a beautiful and inspiring story that readers will be drawn to from the turn of the first page.  This is a uniquely written story in that one of the main characters, Thor Norgaard, is deaf.  Bischof capture the emotions and spirit of Thor and brings him to life in a way that readers will absolutely adore.  And Readers will love the sweet and delightful romance between widowed Aven Norgaard and Thor.  This is a story that will pull at the heartstrings of readers as they come to know the characters through their struggles and triumphs.  Bischof is a natural storyteller and will capture and ignite the tender emotions of her readers.
