Secrets of Augustine by Traci Hunter Abramson This story is fast paced and action packed. It’s the story of a young orphan girl who runs away from private school when she overhears a plot to have her murdered so some men can embezzle her fortune. An agent on vacation with his family discovers her and they work together to save her. Readers will thoroughly enjoy the family focused elements of the story mixed in with the action and many twists and turns of the story. Hounded by Clair M. Poulson This story focuses on a retired Army Ranger that gets hired as a private investigator. He’s trying to help his boss solve a case where a woman is wrongly accused of murder. But then someone from his boss’s past shows up and keeps sending threatening notes, creating another case they have to jump on to solve. Plenty of action and intrigue as the story jumps around with the two cases to solve. In Plain Sight by Paige Edwards Of the three stories in this collection, this story has the most romance. A woman in the wrong place at the wrong time, she ends up having to work along side an FBI operative if she wants to live. Readers will love the romantic tension between the woman and FBI agent, as well as the all the action taking place.
