Today I'm posting a line from The Lady of Bolton Hill by Elizabeth Camden, My First Line: Baltimore, Maryland, 1867 "Come on boy. Your dad needs you." Daniel looked up from his exam in disbelief, certain his father would never pull him out of this test. What are you reading? What is your first line? Open the book nearest you and post the first line in the comments below... Then head on over to Hoarding Books and link up! And then hop around the linky to visit other blog stops.

Have a good weekend! My first line is from “Somewhere Beyond the Blue: Fun sixty-something romances” – the first one is “A TIME TO PUSH DAISIES” by Marion Ueckermann:

Happy Friday! On my blog this week I shared Uninvited by Lysa TerKeurst but I'm also currently reading Emerald Illusion by Jennifer Rodewald. I'm on chapter 12 so I'll share the first line from there: "Clouds began to cloak the few stars that were determined to see light into the dreary hill country." Hope you have a great weekend with plenty of reading!
