Which cover do you prefer?

As much as I like both covers, I am partial to the old one because that is the cover on that was on the book the first time I read it!
My First Line:

Vivianna stood next to Mrs. Turner--tried to ignore the bitter sting of hot tears brimming in her eyes.
What are you reading?  What is your first line?

Both covers are lovely! Sounds like it would be a good story. Thank you for sharing it this week. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I really like the new cover best.
My first line from the book I'm reading is:
"Painter" was an occupational name in Europe for someone who painted, especially a craftsman that painted stained glass," began Caroline Painter.

“Fire!”
Jess McGrath tore the fire extinguisher off the fire extinquisher off the wall before running back to the blaze in her brother’s office.
