Ordinary Snowflakes

Don't you just love the cover of this novella!  The blue, the snow, that almost kiss!!  This is such a sweet and delightful holiday read.  You will not want to miss it.

Check out my review HERE.

I almost stepped on it.  A small brown box with a simple strip of burlap around it lay conspiciously on my tiny front porch.

Okay so I just had to add the second line... :)

What are you reading?  What is your first line?

Open the book nearest you and post the first line...

This is the story of what a Woman's patience can endure, and what a Man's resolution can achieve. This is from The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins.

I've been fortunate enough to critique most of Jennifer's work, and it's all amazing!
My first line:
Reagan McAdams had been gone more than a decade when Rachel resurrected her.

I'm reading my editor Robin Patchen's new book, Convenient Lies.

My book this week is Ruthless: Scientology, My Son David Miscavige, and Me and the first line from Chapter 24 'Now What?' is:

"The degree to which David has deviated from L. Ron Hubbard's management directives since he took power in the 1980s has had several consequences that I don't think he ever predicted."

Happy Friday!
