It is Friday and I am joining Carrie from Reading is My SuperPower, Rachel from Bookworm Mama, and Beth from Faithfully Bookish in First Line Fridays.  If you would like to join us, send Carrie a meassage and let her know!

Grab the book nearest to you and leave a comment with the first line!

Today I am going to post a line from
The Lady and the Lionheart by Joanne Bischof.

You can check out my previous author interview with Joanne HERE.

This book is a greatly anticipated read on my TBR pile.  I am thrilled that it is finally releasing and my hope is to get to it real soon.  This is one of those books that I just know I am absolutely going to LOVE!!

What a joy to have L&L as your First Line Friday today. Such an honor!

My current read is Borders of the Heart by Chris Fabry and the first line is "John David Jessup rode out in the morning half-light, when the sun was just a salmon-colored promise on the horizon."

Love that line and a REALLY good read!

“This week I will die, but I’ve never been happier.” from Death Brings Life on the High Seas by Darlene Turner. I’m reading her book on Christian Life in London http://www.clil.ca/index.cfm?sel_cont=news&nws_id=12

This is a book I’m especially excited to start (but I think I say that about all my books, lol)! First line is from “A Heart Most Certain” by Melissa Jaegers, coming August 2nd!!

“Lydia King took a tentative step into Mr. Lowe’s hazy office, feeling like Bob Cratchit approaching Scrooge.”

Oh I so can’t wait to start this :-)
