Today I am going to post a line from

My Heart Belongs in Fort Bliss Texas: Priscilla's ReveilleThe Elusive Miss Ellison
by Erica Vetsch

This book is soooo much fun!  It takes place at a fort in Texas (as it states in the title) and it is centered around family relationships and of course there is romance!  This is a great read that lovers of historical fiction will not want to miss!!

Watch for my review coming soon...

Trans-Pecos Territory of West Texas, 1874

Only the army would think a place like this is worth defending.

I loved that book.
Here's mine.

First line from “With This Peace” by Karen Campbell Prough.
It is the third book in the series that tells the story of Ella Dessa.
Gritty, real, tragic

I've only read one of Erica's books so far (Cactus Creek) but I loved it!

My first line comes from Karen Sargent's upcoming release, Waiting for Butterflies:

"Maggie heard the key in the front door and looked at the clock on the nightstand: 1:48 a.m. Nearly twenty-four hours had passed since the phone had jarred her awake and Sam out of bed."
