Though Brian desires love, will his unresolved issues with his mother get in the way? Every moment spent with one another can only be described as fate - a power beyond human control. This story is a light festive and pretty quick read that’s about a woman whose husband is murdered and the detective that solves the case and their developing relationship. Although a fairly predictable read, the story is still enjoyable and even ties in a strong thread of faith throughout this sweet romance. Even though this is a second book in a series, it can still be read as a standalone and everything will make sense. Overall, readers will find this to be a heartwarming sweet romance.
