Talented author Jody Hedlund has written a captivating story about Irish immigrants living in the slums of St. Louis and a wealthy woman who tries to help them. This story is about attempting to sabotage a romantic relationship after being matched by a meddling matchmaker, as well as disease outbreak and elections and politics. Readers will enjoy this bold and romantic story where friendship blooms and sparks fly when least expected, in this delightful and charming novel. Talented and captivating, Hedlund writes a story that readers will be enthralled with and will adore. Another excellent tale from a wonderful master storyteller.
