Readers who read a Nicole Deese novel will never be disappointed, and Before I Called You Mine is no different.  Deese has written a masterful heart-wrenching and inspiring story that readers will completely be drawn to.  The readers will quickly come to know the characters and fall in love with them as they feel the strong emotions of each character, including joys and sorrows.  This beautiful story is about giving everything of oneself to selflessly adopt and provide a home for a sweet child.  But more than that it’s about coming to know oneself, through both self-sacrifice, and falling in love.  This emotionally charged story will leave readers thinking about it long after they close the last page.
