From page one, debut author Rachel Scott McDaniel captures the attention of historical, suspense, and romance readers.  This is a page turning story that will have readers on their seats wanting more.  It has a well-paced and enjoyable story, as well as engaging and sassy characters that readers will delight in.  From the romance to the suspense, McDaniel has developed a story that is threaded with suspenseful details that will keep them guessing, as well as romance that will leave them sighing.  This is an absolutely charming and delightful read all the way around!!
