Well written and with exciting and exhilarating characters that were in her previous novel, Saving Shadow, Beers brings to life the exciting life of a spy during the regency time period and the war with Napoleon. Hidden secrets, abductions, love, this story has it all. Although this book has a bit of violence in it, the violence is not glorified or gory. Readers will not want to miss this next book in the exhilarating Beckett Files series!
