ReviewAuthor Pepper Basham has written an absolutely charming retelling of Jane Austen’s Emma. This is an absolutely delightful read from the charm of the wonderful characters to the southern small town feel and a back drop of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Basham brings plenty of emotions and heart in her story. Readers will find the characters easy to connect to with their real-life and relatable experiences. This is definitely the story of Emma, but with a vibrant Basham twist, making it all her own. This story is about finding oneself and allowing for forgiveness and grace. Readers will absolutely adore and fall in love with the beloved re-telling from Basham.
