Jody Hedlund is an award-winning and bestselling author of inspirational historical romances for both youth and adults.

As a busy mama-writer, she has the wonderful privilege of teaching her crew of 5 children at home. In between grading math papers and giving spelling tests, she occasionally does a load of laundry and washes dishes. When she's not busy being a mama, you can find her in front of her laptop working on another of her page-turning stories.

Review

In her novel, A Cowboy for Keeps, author Jody Hedund has written a sweet and charming western mail-order-bride gone wrong, marriage of convenience story. This is a story about two people that get into some circumstances where they need each other, so they end up getting married so they can help each other out. The 1862 Colorado mountain setting enhances the story and helps bring this cowboy story to life. This story is about hopes, dreams, faith, and falling in love. Although a bit different than some of Hedlund’s other stories, as she takes on a bit of a different genre than she has done before, readers will quickly fall in love with this delightful story and it’s beloved characters.
