Melanie earned a bachelor’s degree in special education from the University of Alabama and has been a teacher and a missionary. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Huntsville, Alabama.

Review

Author Melanie Dickerson has written yet another enrapturing story in her latest release, The Golden Braid.  In Melanie’s classic style she has written a beautiful and enchanting retelling of the story of Rapunzel that readers will adore.  Filled with adventure and romance with a backdrop in the 1413 village of Hagenheim, Germany, this novel will charm readers from page one.  With exciting characters and a delightful story, this is the type of novel that keeps readers coming back for more.  Reading it and re-reading it, as well as greatly anticipating Melanie’s next release.  I highly recommend this novel to readers that enjoy historical fiction and fairytale stories.
