Review
Nadine has written a fascinating and captivating dystopian adventure novel that teens will absolutely love. From page one, Nadine captures the attention of her readers, pulling them into the life of Parvin Blackwater, a teenager that is in the last year of her life. With her clock ticking down to the day she will die, Parvine wants to do something that people will remember her by so she’s not just another “empty numbers” person. This brilliantly written story is of Parvin’s adventure once she is caught sharing her clock with her brother and is cast to the other side of wall. Parvine just might learn how to survive and go back and save her people. I would recommend this somewhat fast paced science fiction story to readers that enjoy teen speculative, dystopian, adventure novels.
