Summary
Sabrina and Daphne Grimm have been shifted from foster home to foster home ever since the disappearance of their parents.  One day Relda Grimm, a woman they believed was dead, shows up claiming to be their grandmother.  Granny informs the girls that they are descendants of the famous Grimm brothers who wrote the fairy tale collection.  But these books are not just fairy tales; according to Granny, they are true stories.  When their Granny, a fairy tale detective, gets kidnapped by a giant, Sabrina and Daphne, with the help of some fairy tale people, must go to her rescue.

Review
Michael Buckley has created a fantastic twist on popular fairytale characters that children will love.  Ancestors of the Brothers Grimm brought together with the fairytale characters that they wrote about create an exciting and fast-paced adventure for kids.  With the magical fairytale characters interacting with humans, this novel is full of fun and enjoyment, leaving readers anticipating the next book in the series.
