About the Author
Miralee Ferrell is the award-winning author of more than a dozen novels. She and her husband live along the Columbia River Gorge in southern Washington State, where she enjoys riding the wooded trails and spending time with her grown children. In addition to horses and dogs, Miralee once owned two cougars.
What a fun story for kids. Miralee Ferrell has written a story about friendship and teamwork, as well as the importance of being honest and telling the truth. In the story Kate Ferris and her friends are pulling together a Trail Ride to raise money for autistic kids to attend a horse camp. A mystery ensues when the money box, an antique jewelry box belonging to Kate’s mom , goes missing. These friends pull together to try and solve the mystery. I would recommend this story to young readers that enjoy mysteries.
