![]() Summary Harry’s scar, which he received when Lord Voldemort tried to kill him when he was a baby, keeps burning, and rumor has it that Lord Voldemort has risen once again. Even before he is back at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for his fourth year, he is having searing pain. Harry informs Sirius Black, his godfather, of everything that is going on so he can be in the loop and try to help him. Life during year four involves the Triwizard Tournament, a competition among three schools: Hogwarts, Durmstrang Institue and Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. This year, in order to stop potential deaths, an age restriction of seventeen is place on the competition, leaving Harry too young to enter. Each school is allowed one competitor, determined from the names placed in a goblet to be the school’s champion, chosen from the students’ names placed in a goblet, to complete three tasks; but, mysteriously, Harry’s name is placed into the goblet under a fourth school to guarantee it is pulled out. Now Harry must compete in a magical competition against those superior to him, and it looks as though his participation in the competition is not by accident; someone wants him dead. Will Harry survive the three events in the tournament, earning the Triwizard Cup and some money, or will he die in the process? Review Yet another wonderful installment in the Harry Potter series. Full of more Harry Potter delight as he once again faces Lord Voldemort. Full of magic and mystery this intense-well written novel is a must-read as it continues Harry’s story.
