Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Harry Potter #2) by J.K. Rowling

Summary
After a long summer with the Dursleys, Harry is excited to be heading back to school at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.  Not long before he is to go back to school, Harry receives a strange warning from Dobby, the house elf, not to return to school because Harry Potter is in danger.  Harry returns for his second year at Hogwarts anyway and he is in for another year of adventure.  There is a great shock when, after students keep turning up petrified, rumors surface that the Chamber of Secrets has been opened once again.  Harry and his friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, put their heads together to solve this unwanted school mystery.  Who could be behind the “petrifying”? Could it be Draco Malfoy, a fellow student and rival, or is it Professor Snape?  Or, as everyone in the school suspects, could it be Harry Potter himself?

Review
Once again J.K. Rowling has written an excellent Harry Potter story.  This novel continues Harry’s adventure at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.  There are magical potions involved, rumors to be figured out, and friends to rely on to help Harry solve the school’s mystery of the hidden Chamber of Secrets.  Excellent addition to the first novel in this series.
