Christmas at Sugar Plum Manor is an absolutely charming Edwardian historical romance and a magical retelling of the Nutcracker.  White weaves the story in such a way that the story has a vibrancy of it’s own with gentle hints at it being the story of the Nutcracker.  Readers will fall in love with Lady Mariah Lyons and her childhood friend Cyril Lightbourne as they reconnect after distance and a misunderstanding.  This story is a delight and brings the holiday spirit to life.  A thoroughly enjoyable story that readers will definitely want to pick up this holiday season!
